Hey y'all!
In my opinion, online interviews are way less intimidating than face to face interviews. I was way less nervous to talk to my employer and that made me more confident in myself. I kept my cool and didn't panic if I didn't have an answer to a question right away. I think I improved a lot since the mock interviews with my confidence and composure.
Some of the things I need to work on are my filler words. I used the word "um" more than I would have liked. So I need to watch for that. Also, I didn't incorporate as many PAR storied into this interview as my last. I think that might have been because of the questions that I was asked, but none the less, I need to remember to include those in my answers. Lastly, I tried to keep my background very plain and neutral, but it effected my over lighting and caused my side to have a colder tone.
For future employment, I need to include more PAR stories to emphasize my strengths, and keep up the confidence to sell myself.
My employer was Jonathan Juretich with a score of 5.
I like that we had this assignment and how our teacher made us evaluate the lighting because it really does make a difference in the interview. There are things I would never have thought about on my own that we are asked to be aware of in class. I feel so much more prepared because of this class.
ReplyDeleteFiller words are killer! That was a challenge I had on my mission (and I'm still working on). I realized it's a result of confidence! Be wonderful you! :)
